Kim Walker moved to Victoria with her partner, Stephen Connolly, in 1995. She has lived on Victor Street for the past 15 years where she has survived several years of DIY renovations in their 100 year old home.
During this time Kim served as a Senior Policy Analyst for the BC government in community economic development and water management until 2000 when she left public service to resurrect her consulting practice. Her work-related experience at the community level includes public education, public participation, organizational capacity building, labour market development, immigrant integration, cultural diversity, social enterprise strategies and impact assessments of municipal services.
Kim enjoys gardening, biking and photography in and around the neighbourhood.
