Notice of Land Use Committee Community Meeting

The Oaklands Community Association Land Use Committee will be hosting a Community Meeting on March 25, 2019 from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at the Oaklands Neighbourhood House (2629 Victor St.) to provide an opportunity for residents to review and provide comments on revisions to the proposed development at 1301 Hillside Ave. Given the project is adjacent to the Quadra-Hillside Community we will be jointly hosting the event with their land use committee.

Presenting Indoor Soccer at Oaklands!

December 20th, 2018

Join Richardson Sport for a new season of indoor soccer at Oaklands Elementary School Gym. Ages 4-6 from 5:15-6 pm. Learn the fundamentals of soccer in a fun, sporty environment! Program starts Thursday, January 17. 

 

 

Presenting Hatha Yoga at Oaklands

New this November! Join Erica for a 60 minute Hatha Yoga class focused on body awareness, safe alignment, and a strong mind-body connection. This class is designed to cultivate balance, strength, mobility, and joint stablity in your body. Call us at 250-370-9101 for more information or to register!

You're invited to join our new monthly book club. Join us on the first Tuesday of each month starting in October to meet others who enjoy reading, share ideas, have lively conversations and make new friends. Minister Hajdu Visits Oaklands Community Centre

Minister Patty Hajdu visited the Oaklands Community Centre on Monday, August 20th to visit our summer camps and explain some changes to the Canada Child Benefit.
